CEO: Sberbank expects 1.2–1.24 tln rbl IFRS net profit in 2021

MOSCOW, Dec 9 (PRIME) -- The consensus forecast for the net profit of Russia's biggest lender Sberbank under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) amounts to 1.20–1.24 trillion rubles for 2021, CEO German Gref said on Thursday.

"We will obviously finish the year with good results. The consensus forecast for Sberbank amounts to about 1.20–1.24 trillion rubles,” Gref said.

“Somewhere in this range under IFRS, I think. It is too early to say, December is ahead, but obviously, the figures will be in this range."

In January–September, Sberbank earned 978 billion rubles, 80% more than in the same period of 2020 under IFRS.
